This Privacy Notice explains how Moxar collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the LeafLoop app. LeafLoop is designed to work locally on your device for plant care tracking, reminders, calendars, logs, and statistics. In general, your plant records, care history, and preferences are stored on your device unless a feature explicitly requires temporary processing to complete a requested action.
By using the app, you acknowledge that some features may access device permissions such as photos, camera, and notifications, depending on what you choose to enable. We aim to keep data collection minimal and limited to what is needed to provide the app’s core functions.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include local device storage protections, restricted internal access, secure transmission where applicable, and access controls for operational systems.
While we work to protect information, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your own device and any backups you create.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may rely on limited third-party service providers only for infrastructure functions such as cloud storage, server hosting, backup handling, logging infrastructure, or basic operational support. Any such provider acts solely on our behalf and only under our instructions, and is bound by contractual obligations to protect data security and confidentiality.
These third parties are not permitted to use user data for advertising, user profiling, AI training, model optimization, redistribution, or any purpose beyond the services we instruct them to perform. They do not independently access or use user content for their own purposes.
Depending on where you and our service providers are located, certain information may be processed or stored in different regions or countries. When such transfers occur, we take steps intended to ensure that the information remains protected under appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
If local law requires additional protections for cross-border transfers, we will apply those protections where required and reasonably practicable.
We keep information only for as long as necessary to provide the app, support requested features, or meet legal and operational requirements.
Where information is stored locally on your device, you can remove it by deleting the relevant records or uninstalling the app, subject to the limitations of your device and operating system.
The app is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that a user under 17 has provided personal information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it as required.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we make changes, we will revise the effective date above and may provide additional notice in the app or through other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the app after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised notice, to the extent permitted by law.
We do NOT perform facial recognition, biometric analysis, face template generation, or identity verification using facial data. The app is not designed to identify people, analyze facial features, or create biometric profiles.
If an image is temporarily processed for a user-requested feature, it is used only to complete that feature and is deleted after processing is finished, unless you choose to keep it in your own device storage.
All AI processing, if used, occurs only on our internal servers. We do NOT use third-party AI services to process user data. We do NOT use user data for AI training, model improvement, or benchmarking.
Any temporary data used during processing is deleted after the task is completed. AI-related outputs are provided only to fulfill the requested feature and are not used to build profiles, train models, or infer personal characteristics for unrelated purposes.
We use information only to operate and improve the app’s core features, such as plant records, care reminders, calendars, logs, local notifications, settings, and support functions.
We do NOT use information for AI training, advertising, profiling, or selling. We do NOT use your user-generated content to target ads, infer sensitive traits, or build marketing profiles. We also do NOT sell user data to any party.

Cookies and similar technologies: The app is primarily a native iOS application and does not rely on web cookies for its main functions. If any web-based content or linked services are used in the future, they may use standard technologies for basic operation and security.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice and agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or any optional features that require personal information or device permissions.
